TNA: B.G. James ,Part 2

The 4Live Kru would be short lived as Konnan, still apparently upset at Kip James's induction into the Kru, bashed both B.G. and Kip over the head with a steel chair at TNA's pay-per-view Turning Point. Konnan, still wanting Ron Killings to be his "family" tried talking with The Truth. Killings told Konnan that he was done with the Kru and wanted to leave it all behind him.

After the incident, B.G. and Kip regrouped, reforming their old tag team as The James Gang and feuding with Konnan's new stable, The Latin American Exchange which he formed with Homicide and Apolo. Apolo was sent home from the Against All Odds PPV after complaining about being used as a jobber and was quickly replaced by a relative unknown named Machete.

On a recent edition of Impact, B.G.'s real life father Bullet Bob Armstrong informed the James Gang that he was sick of the shenanigans of LAX and how they always used strength in numbers to their advantage. He informed them that he was going to see Larry Zbyszko to have himself added to the Destination X match as their partner, effectively making it a three-man tag. A despondent B.G. turned to Kip James and comically uttered "Mom is gonna KILL me!" He was in fact added and they won the match at Destination X.

The next month an arm wrestling match was booked between Bullet Bob Armstrong and Konnan, where the losing team would get hit 10 times with a leather whip. Bob Armstrong prevailed with the victory, so the LAX got whipped several times upon scramming out of the cage for survival.

Following the LAX rivalry, B.G and Kip went after Team 3D, aka the Dudley Boyz. The two teams cut promos arguing over their long term histories with past promotions such as WWE and ECW. The rivalry came to a head at TNA Sacrifice 2006 when the James Gang beat Team 3D using a lead pipe. The James Gang and Team 3D would then feud throughout the summer. They were scheduled for a #1 contendership match at Hard Justice but due to a fire the match was canceled. The match was redone on iMPACT but the Gang would not win.

Over the past couple of weeks, B.G. has vocally disagreed with Kip over what kind of a man Jeff Jarrett is, stating on the iMPACT aired on October 19, 2006 that Jarrett disregarded his stupidity over six early months of his career and took him in (obviously alluding to when he was The Roadie back in WWF). He claimed that Jarrett may be stand-offish as a wrestler, but he is "a damn good man".

On the November 2, 2006 edition of TNA iMPACT!, Kip and B.G. James said they were going to quit. Kip James grabbed the mic and tried to say something to the TNA administration and Spike TV but each time his mic was cut off. Kip then tried to use the announcer's headset, but it was cut off as well. Frustrated, he started yelling loudly to the crowd but he was cut off as the show went to a commercial break. When the show returned, the announcers speculated that they may have been frustrated due to the influx of new talent entering TNA. It was reported recently that the segment was a worked shoot that Vince Russo had written in order to renew interest upon their eventual return.

On the November 16 airing of TNA iMPACT!, The James Gang made an appearance with the new name of the Voodoo Kin Mafia or VKM. They spent their airtime bashing both members of D-Generation X, using their real names of Paul Levesque and Michael Hickenbottom, as well as Vince McMahon. After several demeaning statements about the two were made (including calling Triple H "Triple Hollywood" and Shawn Michaels "Shawn Kiss-My-Bottom"), VKM made claims of declaring war on both DX as well as Vincent Kennedy McMahon (VKM). On the November 23 airing of "iMPACT!" they went searching around for their target, but they ended up arriving at a Target store. At the end of the episode it showed the Voo-Doo Kin Mafia arguing and Kip pointed in front of them where the WWE World Headquarters is. B.G. then said, "We're back!". As acknowledged by TNA's Website, VKM accepted The Hardys open challenge to a match at December to Dismember, however the WWE never acknowledged nor accepted their challenge. Over the last few weeks, VKM have aired several videos bashing DX and Vince McMahon. They also made a $1,000,000 challenge to DX as announced on TNA website. They declared 'victory' at the Final Resolution pay-per-view.

BG James was telling people backstage recently that if he could get out of his TNA deal and had an offer from the WWE. He said he would jump in a heart beat.

Brian Gerard (B.G.) James (born May 20, 1969) is an American professional wrestler, best known for his appearances with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) as "The Road Dogg" Jesse James; a former member of D-Generation X, and the tag team partner of Billy Gunn, with whom he comprised the New Age Outlaws and The James Gang (now known as the Voodoo Kin Mafia). He is currently working for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA).

Brian James Wrestling Debut: ed for the upstart Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion on September 18, 2002 wrestling as B.G. James (the popular Road Dogg gimmick was owned by the WWE). He was initially a heel and one of the founding members of Vince Russo's Sports Entertainment Xtreme faction.

In July 2003, James formed the popular group known as the 3Live Kru with Hispanic wrestler Konnan and the African American wrestler K-Kwik, by then wrestling under his real name, Ron Killings. James was presented as a white trash redneck. The group was popular from the outset and were notable for the fact that they sang their own entrance music as they approached the ring. The 3Live Kru turned out to be a successful gimmick as Killings held the NWA World Heavyweight Title for a second time and all three members enjoyed Tag Title reigns.

Tension arose when James' former partner Billy Gunn joined TNA as "The New Age Outlaw" (later shortened to "The Outlaw") in February 2005. The Outlaw repeatedly courted James, seeking to split the Kru and recreate the New Age Outlaws. When The Outlaw began feuding with the Kru, James repeatedly found his loyalties divided, unwilling to fight either his former or current tag team partners. For a time, James stopped appearing with the Kru but did not align himself with The Outlaw who had by then changed his name to "Kip James" as a "tribute" to James' father. At Sacrifice however, he reasserted his allegiance with 3LK as special guest referee in another match between the other members and the team of Kip James and Monty Brown.

Kip James tried to warm up to 3LK again in the lead-up to Bound for Glory by saving B.G. several times from Team Canada. At BFG, he offered his protective services to them against Team Canada (to neutralize Scott D'Amore, as he said). They lost and Kip James came down, appearing ready to hit Konnan with a steel chair since he vetoed Kip's offer. Kip instead saved Konnan from Team Canada proving his original intentions.

On the November 26 episode of iMPACT!, B.G. brought Kip and the 3LK to the ring and asked the Truth and Konnan to give Kip James a yes/no vote to be accepted into the group. After B.G. got heated with Konnan, both gave Kip yes votes and the "4Live Kru" was born.

Lance Hoyt

Ring name(s) Lance Steel,Breakdown,Shadow,Dallas,Lance Hoyt
Billed height 6 ft 9 in (206 cm)
Billed weight 290 lb (131.5 kg)
Born February 27, 1977,Hearne, Texas
Resides Austin, Texas
Billed from Dallas, Texas
Trained by Solo Fiatala
Pro Wrestling Debut: July 2000

Lance Hoyt (born February 27, 1977 in Hearne, Texas) is an American professional wrestler, currently working for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in Orlando, Florida.

As a child, Hoyt aspired to be a marine biologist. He began playing football in high school as a quarterback, which eventually led him to Howard Payne University. Hoyt later transferred to Southwest Texas State University, where he graduated with a degree in English. He then moved to Austin, Texas and began entertaining patrons in a bar known as The Voodoo Room with a breakdancing act.

In 2000, Hoyt began training as a wrestler under Solo Fiatala, and debuted in July 2000, facing Tarzan Taylor in his first match. He spent the next four years working on the Texan independent circuit, using the stage names Lance Steel (in the Southwest Wrestling Federation) and Breakdown (a character created on the spur-of-the-moment by Hoyt in Corpus Christi when he had forgotten his usual ring attire and was forced to wrestle in his street clothing). In 2001, Hoyt joined the Arlington-based Professional Championship Wrestling promotion as Shadow, a character based on the "Crow" persona of the wrestler Sting. He faced WWE superstar Charlie Haas on PCW's Friday night show, Uncut in January 2005 and also faced ECW superstar Sabu in May at PCW Captital Punishment

Hoyt was hired by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) in March 2004, and immediately teamed up with X Division mainstay Kid Kash as Dallas, Kash's bodyguard, tag team partner and (kayfabe) relative. He and Kash took part in a tournament for the vacant NWA World Tag Team Championships, and won the vacant titles by defeating Low-Ki and Christopher Daniels in the finals on April 7. They lost the titles to D'Lo Brown and Apolo the subsequent week, then regained them from Brown and Apolo the week following that. Their second and final reign ended on June 4 of that year when they were defeated by America's Most Wanted.

After Kid Kash was suspended by TNA in June 2004, Hoyt was reduced to wrestling dark matches. He appeared sporadically with TNA throughout the remainder of the year, and aided Kash in his feud with A.J. Styles upon his return from suspension. In January 2005, Hoyt began wrestling under his own name at the instruction of booker Dusty Rhodes. He and Kash competed in the tag team division, unsuccessfully challenging America's Most Wanted for the NWA World Tag Team Championships at Against All Odds 2005 on February 13, until Kash was released by TNA on April 19, 2005. Left without a partner, Hoyt teamed with Chris Candido to face Sonny Siaki and Apolo in a cage match at Lockdown 2005 on April 24. In the course of the match, Candido suffered a serious leg injury and was stretchered out. Outnumbered, Hoyt was pinned shortly thereafter. Following the match, Candido's cohorts, The Naturals, attacked Hoyt, thus turning him face.

Hoyt began developing a strong fan following, leading to his introducing a gimmick known as "Hoytamania" (a reference to the "Hulkamania" surrounding Hulk Hogan). He feuded with Team Canada throughout mid-2005, and lost to Abyss at Sacrifice 2005 on August 14. When TNA hit Spike TV, he set up for a match against Monty Brown at Bound for Glory 2005, which he again lost. He was also involved in the 10-man Gauntlet match at the end to determine the No.1 contender for Jeff Jarrett's NWA World Heavyweight Championship. In that match "The Ticked Off Texan" was eliminated by eventual winner Rhino. He began teaming with Matt Bentley in mid-card tag matches until a misinterpreted steel chair incident lead Bentley to believe Hoyt had "screwed" him, and he severely turned on him with a spontaneous brawl by ringside, consisting of several chairshots. Hoyt defeated Bentley at the Destination X 2006 pay-per-view on March 12, 2006. He returned to TNA at No Surrender 2006 in the Triple Chance Tag Team Battle Royal as a partner to Ron Killings, but he was one of the first eliminated from the match. Hoyt made his Spike TV Pro Wrestling Debut: teaming with Killings to defeat Matt Bentley and Kazarian.

Hoyt participated in the Fight for the Right Tournament, where he was one of last two remaining men, making it to the third stage of the match. Despite putting up a fighting effort, he lost to Abyss, who won a bye to the tournament finals for a shot at the the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Even so, he wrestled Ron Killings in the quarterfinals of the tournament at November 2 episode of Impact, but was defeated.

On November 19, 2006 at TNA's Genesis pay-per-view event, Hoyt and his tag team partner Ron Killings defeated Austin Starr and Alex Shelley with Kevin Nash at ringside.

TNA: Homicide, Part 8

Homicide debuted in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) on December 31, 2005, helping Konnan and Apolo beat down Bob Armstrong. The trio, identified as the Latin American Exchange, then challenged Konnan's rivals, B.G. James and Kip James. At Final Resolution 2006 on January 15, Konnan and Homicide defeated The Naturals. At Against All Odds 2006 on February 12, Homicide and new LAX member Machete lost to The James Gang. At Destination X 2006 on March 12, the LAX were once again defeated by the James Gang in a rematch.

On July 20, 2006 Homicide and his current LAX tag team partner, Hernandez, became involved in a feud with A.J. Styles and Christopher Daniels for the NWA World Tag Team Championship. Homicide kicked it off by debuting "Da Cop Killa" in TNA, which he called "Da Gringo Killa" in his current LAX gimmick, using it on A.J. Styles. On the episode of TNA iMPACT! aired on August 24, 2006 Homicide and Hernandez defeated Styles and Daniels in a border brawl to win the NWA World Tag Team Championship. On September 24, 2006 at No Surrender 2006, Homicide and Hernandez lost the NWA World Tag Team Championship back to Styles and Daniels in an Ultimate X match. He and Hernandez regained the titles from Styles and Daniels in a Six Sides of Steel match at Bound for Glory 2006 after he hit Styles With Da Gringo Killa.

On November 19, 2006, LAX defeated America's Most Wanted to retain the NWA World Tag Titles at Genesis 2006. Following the match, Jim Cornette came out and threatened to strip the NWA World Tag Titles from LAX because Cornette said that TNA did not want LAX to represent them as their World Tag Team Champs. LAX presented Jim Cornette with a lawyer, who classified Cornette's actions as being racist. LAX remained NWA World Tag Team Champions, and Jim Cornette, for the first time since entering TNA, displayed signs of vulnerability due to the legality of the case. On December 10, 2006 LAX defeated AMW in a non-title flag match at Turning Point 2006.

LAX went on to defend the tag titles against Team 3D at TNA Final Resolution 2007, without Konnan in ringside - who was beaten down by Team 3D - and retained after a drunken and dressed in a Santa Claus costume, Brother Runt gave a splash over Homicide, and made Team 3D be disqualified.

TNA: Homicide, Part 7

Throughout mid 2006, Homicide resisted Combat Zone Wrestling's invasion of Ring of Honor until May 13, 2006, when he defeated Necro Butcher after a wild brawl in Edison, New Jersey, which invovled over 600 chairs being thrown into the ring by the fans! Aside from that he challenged Bryan Danielson for the ROH World Championship on June 3, but lost due to referee stoppage, prompting Homicide to attack referee Todd Sinclair. After defeating Chris Hero, the leader of the CZW invasion, on June 17, Homicide said he would quit Ring of Honor if he did not win the ROH World Championship by the end of the year. His frustration with Ring of Honor grew when he was counted-out during a ROH Pure Championship bout with Nigel McGuiness on June 24.

On July 15, Homicide took part in a five-on-five Cage of Death match pitting members of the Ring of Honor roster against members of the CZW roster, winning the bout for his team by pinning Nate Webb. Following the match, Homicide told Ring of Honor commissioner Jim Cornette that he wished to be rewarded with a shot at the ROH World Championship, a match with Steve Corino and the re-instatement of Low Ki, who Cornette had suspended several months earlier. After Cornette granted the first two "wishes" but refused to bring back Low Ki, Homicide spat in his face, prompting Cornette and his bodyguard, Adam Pearce, to beat Homicide down. A match was scheduled for August 5th between Homicide and Pearce, which eventually turned into a tag team match involving Homicide, BJ Whitmer, Steve Corino and Adam Pearce.

Homicide then began teaming with Samoa Joe against the Briscoes. His feud with Jim Cornette came to an abrupt end when Cornette was fired by Ring of Honor on November 4, 2006. On November 25th, Homicide and Samoa Joe beat the Briscoes in a Street Fight, thus ending their feud.

Homicide then focused on facing Bryan Danielson for the ROH World Championship at Final Battle 2006. He stated that if he did not win the ROH World Title at Final Battle, he would leave ROH. On December 23rd, Homicide defeated Bryan Danielson in 29:12 to win the ROH title. Adam Pearce & Shane Hagadorn attacked Homicide at one point and it was stopped, but the ref refused to end it on a DQ. At another point, Danielson wouldn't break on the ropes and again the ref refused to call a DQ. Danielson even managed to get his hand on the rope after a Cop Killa. Homicide finally won with a Lariat. There was a big post-match celebration of the title change.

Homicide defended succesfully against Chris Hero and Samoa Joe on the 26th and 27th of January. Surprisingly during the Homicide/Joe match, the crowd was totally against Homicide and was disappointed when he retained. Homicide then successfully defended the championship against Jimmy Rave on February 16 in the same building where he won the belt, the Manhattan Center in New York City.

However, on the next evening (February 17) in Philadelphia at the Pennsylvania National Guard Armory, Homicide was defeated for the ROH World Championship by Takeshi Morishima, a Japanese professional wrestler visiting the United States.

TNA: Homicide, Part 6

In January 2005 Homicide began a "best of five" series with American Dragon. Homicide was victorious in the first two matches, a submission match and a taped fist match, but lost the remaining three matches - a falls count anywhere match, a lumberjack match and a steel cage match at The Final Showdown on May 13, 2005.

Following his loss to American Dragon, Homicide and the Rottweilers began a feud with Jay Lethal. On May 7 at Manhattan Mayhem, Homicide and Low-Ki teamed together to face Lethal and Samoa Joe. The match ended when Homicide gave Lethal Da Cop Killa while Low-Ki delivered a top rope double foot stomp, driving Lethal's neck into the ground. Lethal was stretchered from the arena wearing a neck brace, apparently badly injured.

With Lethal injured, Homicide turned his attentions to James Gibson, whom he defeated on June 12 at The Future Is Now. After the match, The Rottweilers continued to attack Gibson until Lethal made his return and saved Gibson. This led to a match between Lethal and Homicide on July 9 at Escape from New York, which Homicide won. On July 23 at The Homecoming, Homicide and two fellow Rottweilers (Low-Ki and Ricky Reyes) defeated Samoa Joe, James Gibson and Jay Lethal in a six man tag match. Low-Ki fought Lethal to a double count out on August 12 at Redemption, and Homicide came to ringside after the match to attack Lethal. His plan was foiled by Matt Hardy, who intercepted Homicide then defeated him in a scheduled singles bout. On August 13 at Punk: The Final Chapter, Lethal and Samoa Joe defeated Homicide and Low-Ki by disqualification after Homicide elbow-dropped the referee. From that point on, Lethal began feuding primarily with Low-Ki.

In September 2005, Homicide began feuding with Colt Cabana. At Glory By Honor IV on September 17, he lost to Cabana via disqualification.

At Unforgettable on October 2 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Homicide teamed with Japanese wrestler Kenta Kobashi to face Samoa Joe and his stablemate Low-Ki. Homicide and Kobashi won the match after Homicide took out Joe on the outside of the ring with a tope con hilo while in the ring Kobashi hit Low-Ki with a lariat for the pin.

Homicide teamed with Low-Ki on October 14 at Enter the Dragon in a match that saw him lose to Cabana and his old rival Steve Corino, newly returned to the promotion. He faced Cabana in a singles match at Vendetta on November 5 that ended in a no contest. On November 19 at A Night of Tribute, Homicide faced Cabana once again in a no disqualification rematch. Following interference from Julius Smokes and Grim Reefer, Homicide forced Cabana to submit by strangling him with a coat hanger.

On December 3 in New York City at Steel Cage Warfare, Homicide lost to Corino in a rematch from their feud of 2003. During the match, Homicide separated his shoulder, but opted not to have surgery. On December 17, Homicide tried to kill Colt Cabana by pouring Drano down his throat, after Cabana saved Steve Corino from a beating.[citation needed]

On January 14, Homicide lost the FIP Heavyweight Championship to Bryan Danielson. On February 25 at the Fourth Anniversary Show, Homicide defeated Cabana in a "Ghetto Fight". Homicide went on to defeat Cabana once again on March 31. On April 1, in a violent Chicago Street Fight, Cabana finally defeated Homicide. Following the match, Homicide and Cabana embraced, with Cabana having won Homicide's respect.

TNA: Homicide, Part 5

Homicide was undefeated in ROH throughout June and July, and on August 16, 2003, at Bitter Friends, Stiffer Enemies he defeated Corino in a rematch of their February encounter. After twenty minutes of fighting which saw both men bleeding and carrying injuries, Homicide trapped Corino in a modifed STF, prompting Corino's corner man, Guillotine LaGrande, to throw in the towel, awarding the match to Homicide. In the course of the match, Corino suffered a legitimate ruptured eardrum, and permanently lost most of the hearing in his left ear following a stiff slap to the side of the head from Homicide.

Following high profile victories over Samoa Joe and B.J. Whitmer, Homicide faced Corino for a third time on November 29, 2003, at War of the Wire in a barbed wire match. This time Julius Smokes threw in the towel for Homicide after Corino throttled him with a length of barbed wire. Corino offered Homicide a handshake after the match, indicating that he finally respected Homicide, but Homicide refused to shake his hand.

On December 27 at Final Battle 2003 the ROH roster faced a number of All Japan Pro Wrestling wrestlers in an inter-promotional contest. Homicide lost to Satoshi Kojima a wrestler whose influence can be seen in Homicide wrestling style unfortunately in this match Homicide suffered a hard bump to the head, which resulted in a match that was below expected standards.

2003 is regarded as Homicide's best year in ROH in regards to the amount of quality matches he was a part of leading to him receiving the ROH MVP of that year.

Homicide faced A.J. Styles at The Battle Lines Are Drawn on January 10, 2004. After Styles was thrown from the ring, Homicide dived over the top rope in pursuit, and landed in the third row of the audience, briefly knocking himself unconscious and injuring his shoulder and ribs. Styles quickly capitalized on Homicide's vulnerabilities, defeating him following a Styles Clash. After defeating CM Punk at The Last Stand, Homicide took a hiatus from Ring of Honor to "find himself", sending word through Julius Smokes that when he returned, he wanted a shot at Samoa Joe and the ROH Heavyweight Championship.

Homicide challenged Samoa Joe for the ROH World Championship once more at Reborn: Stage 1 on April 23. Homicide showed signs of anger and frustration throughout the match, and was eventually disqualified for throwing a fireball at Joe. After the match, Homicide turned heel by attacking several referees and trying to further injure the badly burned Joe. In subsequent weeks, Homicide defeated fan favorites American Dragon and Spanky, cheating and threatening referees in both matches. Homicide faced Joe for the ROH Heavyweight Championship for a third time on May 22 at Generation Next, with Joe retaining in a match which saw him bleed for the first time in ROH. Homicide and Joe continued to feud throughout the summer of 2004, with Homicide recruiting a stable known as The Rottweilers (originally Low Ki, Rocky Romero and Julius Smokes) to help him defeat Joe. Despite the best efforts of The Rottweilers, Joe defeated Homicide to retain his title in a fourth match on July 23 at Death Before Dishonor II: Night 1. The Rottweilers worked as a unit throughout the remainder of 2004, helping one another win matches.

The Rottweilers worked as a unit throughout the remainder of 2004, helping one another win matches.

TNA: Homicide, Part 3

Dan Maff, another student of Homicide's, won the JAPW Heavyweight Championship on December 13, 2003. He held the title throughout 2004, dominating the title scene. However, in March 2005, Homicide and Maff had a legitimate falling-out, with Homicide announcing that Maff had betrayed him, and that he would refuse to work for any promotion which employed Maff. This effectively led to Maff being blackballed from professional wrestling. As a result, the JAPW Heavyweight Championship was vacated.

Jay Lethal had pursued the JAPW Heavyweight Championship for several months and was widely expected to be the next champion. The title was put on the line in a match between Lethal and an undisclosed opponent on March 26. The opponent was revealed to be the returning Homicide, who defeated Lethal for an unparalleled sixth JAPW Heavyweight Championship. His reign lasted until May 21, when Lethal finally won the belt in a four way match. The following week, Homicide announced that he was temporarily leaving JAPW, but promised to go on a "murdering spree" and become a seven time JAPW Heavyweight Champion when he returned.

On October 22, 2005, Homicide teamed with his long-term nemesis Teddy Hart to defeat the Backseat Boyz for the JAPW Tag Team Championships. Their reign lasted until November 12 of that year, when Kashmere and Acid regained the titles.

Homicide's first independent exposure came in 2002 when he was recruited by the upstart Ring of Honor (ROH) promotion. He and Boogalou wrestled on the first ever ROH show, The Era of Honor Begins, on February 23, and lost to the Boogie Knights by disqualification after they used a rubber chicken as a weapon. The Natural Born Sinners were a dominant tag team in ROH, beating The Carnage Crew at the July 27 Crowning a Champion event, and also won at the August 24 Honor Invades Boston event, defeating Tony Mamaluke and James Maritato.

After Boogalou suffered an injury and then jumped ship to Rob Black's Xtreme Pro Wrestling promotion (Homicide was also offered a contract by XPW but opted to remained with ROH), Homicide appeared alone at Glory by Honor. Responding to challenge from The Backseat Boyz, he invited anyone in the locker room to be his partner. Steve Corino responded to his offer, and Corino and Homicide faced the Backseat Boys later that night. In the course of the match, Corino turned on Homicide after Homicide accidentally hit him, superkicking his partner and leaving the ring, enabling the Backseat Boyz to easily defeat Homicide.

Homicide and Corino would begin a four year rivalry, with Corino criticizing Homicide's lifestyle and somewhat checkered past. The feud culminated in a match at the One Year Anniversary Show on February 8, 2003 in Queens, New York, New York. Homicide was the hometown favorite, but lost to Corino following interference from The Group, Corino's entourage. After the match, Corino applied a cobra sleeper to Homicide, instigating a riot.

After regaining some momentum by defeating Christopher Daniels on the April 12 ROH event, Epic Encounter, Homicide defeated CM Punk in a match for the number one contendership on April 26 at Retribution: Round Robin Challenge II. Homicide faced ROH World Champion Samoa Joe on May 31 at Do or Die, hoping not only to win the title, but to gain revenge on Joe for helping Corino defeat him in his hometown. Despite the support of his manager, Julius Smokes, and his close friend and former student, Low Ki, Homicide lost cleanly to Joe.

TNA: Homicide, Part 2

Erazo was a wrestling fan from the age of five, and decided that he wanted to become a wrestler at the age of fifteen. After amassing a series of athletic qualifications including football and amateur wrestling, he was offered a scholarship to the University of Miami, which he rejected, preferring to pursue "fast money". Erazo trained himself as a wrestler in a bodega, debuting on March 5, 1993. After wrestling for three years without any formal training, Erazo attended a professional wrestling school in New Jersey operated by Manny Fernandez.

Erazo initially wrestled as The Latin Terror, a reference to his Puerto Rican ethnicity. He grew bored with the gimmick in 1995, and decided to create a new character based on his own past. Erazo had been a gang member as a youth, and he incorporated this into the Homicide character, taking his ring name from an episode of America's Most Wanted where a man was arrested for the crime of homicide.

As Homicide, his stiff wrestling style, extensive use of weapons during matches and gangsta gimmick have led to frequent, sometimes pejorative, comparisons to New Jack.

Erazo worked on the independent circuit throughout the 1990s. While on a year-long hiatus from wrestling, he operated a training school in New York known as The Doghouse along with Laithon and Lowlife Louie. The Doghouse produced approximately twenty two graduates, including a number of ROH wrestlers, most notably Low Ki, now known as Senshi in TNA.

Erazo also formed a tag team called The Natural Born Sinners with Boogalou (which saw Boogalou wear a Leatherface mask and Homicide wear a Michael Myers mask).

Homicide joined Jersey All Pro Wrestling on September 7, 1997 and quickly became a mainstay of the promotion. He formed a tag team with Kane D known as The Nation of Immigration, and on March 22, 1998 The N.O.I. defeated The Sickness and The Blood Angels in a three way tag match for the JAPW Tag Team Championships in Newark, New Jersey. They lost the titles to The Skin Head Express on May 20, but regained them on August 25, defeating Russ and Charlie Haas in a weapons match. Their second reign lasted until January 29, when they lost to D-Sex. Homicide would later hold the titles twice more, with Don Montoya and with B-Boy.

Homicide won the JAPW Heavyweight Championship for the first time on July 9, 1999, defeating Don Montoya in Bayonne, New Jersey. He lost the title to Chino Martinez on August 29. His second reign began when the champion, ECW alumnus Jason, vacated the title on November 18, 2000 by no-showing the event. Homicide defeated Jay Lover for the vacant title that same night in the ECW Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He lost the title to one of his students, Low-Ki, on July 7, 2001. Three more Heavyweight Championship reigns followed in 2001 and 2002, with Homicide firmly establishing himself as a dominant player in JAPW.

Homicide's increasing commitments, including tours of Japan with Big Japan Pro Wrestling and ZERO-ONE, led to a decline in his involvement in JAPW after late-2002.

TNA: Homicide, Part 1

Ring name(s) The Latin Terror,Homicide
Billed height 5 ft 10 in (178 cm)
Billed weight 220 lb (100 kg)
Born Brooklyn, New York, New York
Billed from Bed-Stuy Do or Die Brooklyn, New York
Trained by Manny Fernandez
Debut March 5, 1993

Nelson Rodriguez Erazo (born in Brooklyn, New York, New York) is an American professional wrestler of Puerto Rican descent, better known by his ring name, Homicide. Homicide is currently working for Ring of Honor where he is a former ROH World Champion, and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling where he is one half of the NWA World Tag Team Champions. In TNA, he is one third of the Latin American Exchange with his partner, Hernandez and manager Konnan. In ROH, he is managed by Julius Smokes, collectively known as The Rottweilers.

Following the end of his Arena Football career, Hernandez trained under Tugboat Taylor in Texas All-Star Wrestling and debuted in November 1996.

In 2000, Hernandez brought his deathly ill second cousin Michael Hernandez to one of his matches in Chicago.

In 2000 and 2001 Hernandez worked for the World Wrestling Federation as a jobber, appearing on episodes of WWF Jakked.

In 2001, Hernandez began wrestling for the National Wrestling Alliance. At the October 13, 2001 NWA Anniversary Show in St. Petersburg, Florida he defeated Kevin Northcutt to win the NWA National Heavyweight Championship. He held the title for over a year before losing to Ricky Murdock on January 11, 2003 in Greenville, Missouri. Hernandez defeated Jorge Estrada for the NWA North American Heavyweight Championship on May 3, 2003 in Cornelia, Georgia. On September 28, 2003 in Hawaii, he lost the title to J.T. Wolfen.

Hernandez debuted in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling on the November 22, 2003 episode of TNA Xplosion, losing to Shane Douglas. He returned to TNA on June 16, 2004 as one-third of "The Elite Guard", a trio of mercenaries working for Jeff Jarrett. The Elite Guard (Hernandez, Chad Collyer and Onyx) feuded with the 3Live Kru over the next two months. On July 14, 2004, Jarrett, The Elite Guard and Ken Shamrock lost to Dusty Rhodes, Larry Zbyszko and the 3Live Kru in a ten man tag team bout. The Elite Guard remained with TNA until September 2004, when all three wrestlers were released.

After leaving TNA, Hernandez worked on the Texas independent circuit throughout 2005. In March 2006, he signed a new contract with TNA. He returned on the March 31, 2006 episode of TNA Xplosion as a member of the Latin American Exchange. On the August 24, 2006 episode of TNA iMPACT!, Hernandez and Homicide defeated A.J. Styles and Christopher Daniels for the NWA World Tag Team Championship. Styles and Daniels regained the titles from Hernandez and Homicide in an Ultimate X match on September 24, 2006 at No Surrender, but Hernandez and Homicide won the titles back on October 22, 2006 at Bound For Glory

TNA: Chris Harris

Ring name(s) Chris Harris
Billed height 6 ft 2 in (188 cm)
Billed weight 238 lb (108 kg)
Born December 25, 1973
Billed from Fort Wright, Kentucky
Wrestling Debut November 1994

"Wildcat" Chris Harris is a professional wrestler currently working for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. He was one-half of the tag team America's Most Wanted along with partner James Storm.

Chris Harris began watching wrestling in 1986.He entered his first wrestling promotion under promoter Burt Prentice.Graduating from Covington Catholic High School in 1991, he attended Northern Kentucky University for two years, but dropped out in order to train as a wrestler. His initial training took place with Charlie Fulton and Kid Collins in Marion, Ohio while he worked as a truck driver for 7-Up, and he later trained with former World Wrestling Entertainment referee Roger Ruffen. Once his training was complete, Harris wrestled for independent promotions in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia, Tennessee and Georgia for five years.

Along with several other wrestlers, including future tag team partner James Storm, Harris was signed to a World Championship Wrestling (WCW) developmental deal in October 2000. Terry Taylor proposed a country singer gimmick for him, but it was rejected by management (possibly because of similarities to the character of Jeff Jarrett). The highlight of Harris's WCW career was appearing as a fake version of the popular wrestler Sting at Halloween Havoc 2000 (this parody would be repeated in TNA in 2006). He wrestled on the WCW B-shows WorldWide and Saturday Night as part of R and B Security (the "Run and Bump" team) until the promotion was sold in early 2001.

On June 1, 2002, Harris was given a tryout match against his long-term independent circuit rival James Storm with the flegling wrestling promotion Total Nonstop Action (TNA) by Bert Prentice. Both were subsequently signed to short term contracts. He wrestled in the Gauntlet for the Gold match on the first TNA Pay Per View, and was placed in a tag team with James Storm on the second Pay Per View by Bob Ryder, the creative force behind the team. Storm came up with the name "America's Most Wanted" for the team, which quickly became the heart of the TNA tag division.

In March and April of 2003 the duo teased a split, with Storm and Harris facing off in a singles match on May 7, 2003. Storm won the match, but the partners shook hands afterwards. Harris rejected Vince Russo's offer to join his stable of degenerates, Sports Entertainment Extreme (S.E.X).

When Storm was incapacitated by the recurrence of an old shoulder injury in early 2004, Harris received a NWA World Title shot on March 17, 2004 and was defeated by then champion Jeff Jarrett. He went on to compete in a "King of the Mountain" ladder match for the title on June 2, 2004, but was again bested by Jarrett. America's Most Wanted resumed teaming together, but on August 25, 2004, James Storm was sidelined with neck and shoulder injuries, leaving Harris without a partner. Harris teamed with Elix Skipper to win an NWA Tag Team Title for an unprecedented fifth time on September 8, 2004. Harris and Storm later reunited.

Harris has stated in the past that "I love TNA and plan on staying for a while". On January 16, 2005 Harris became a six time NWA Tag Team Champion (along with James Storm), winning the Tag Titles from Bobby Roode and Eric Young.

Harris would win the titles a seventh time, sixth time as part of AMW, after turning heel later in 2005 and beating The Naturals on October 15, 2005. In league with Jeff Jarrett, he would semi-reprise his role as a fake Sting when he would play the Crow Sting in a Planet Jarrett retrospective of Sting's career on TNA iMPACT! on January 7, 2006.

America's Most Wanted split as a team on the December 14, 2006 edition of iMPACT! during a tag team match with LAX in a Titles vs Team match. James Storm effectively chose the outcome of the match by assaulting Chris Harris with a beer bottle allowing him to be pinned by Homicide putting an end to AMW.

Harris and Storm have both rejected offers from World Wrestling Entertainment.

Harris also works regularly for NWA Cyberspace along with James Storm in the Tag Team division and as a singles Heavyweight. On November 19, in a match that was booked before AMW's heel turn, Harris was forced to fight against Jeff Jarrett for the NWA Cyberspace Heavyweight Championship (Though Jarrett was also NWA World Heavyweight Champion, that title was not on the line). Jarrett let Harris beat him with a Fingerpoke of Doom-style match, but NWA CS Commissioner Jasmin St. Claire immediately booked them for a three-way dance immediately with fellow Cyberspace and TNA wrestler "The Monster" Abyss. Abyss beat both and won the Cyberspace Heavyweight Championship.

Harris's dream opponent is Bret Hart. He is not a country music fan, however, he appeared in the video for the Clay Davidson song "I Can’t Lie to Me". In 1999 he married his girlfriend of four years, Susan. He also still wrestles indipendent shows in London, Kentucky.

TNA: Sonjay Dutt

Ring name(s) Sonjay Dutt
Billed height 5 ft 8 in (172 cm)
Billed weight 185 lb (84 kg)
Born April 7, 1982,Washington, D.C.
Billed from Bollywood,Bombay
Trained by Larry Sharpe
Debut September 2000

Retesh Bhalla (born April 7, 1982 in Washington, D.C.), better known by his ring name, Sonjay Dutt, is an Indian American professional wrestler, currently working for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and Combat Zone Wrestling.

His stage name is modelled after that of famous Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt.

Sonjay Dutt is one of the first Indian American professional wrestlers; his parents moved to the United States of America from India in 1979, and most of his extended family still lives in New Delhi. Dutt graduated from the Kyda Pro Wrestling training school in northern Virginia. He perfected his craft inside the squared circle at Kyda pro wrestling for the first two years of his professional career. Dutt got his first break wrestling in Major League Wrestling in 2003.

Since then, he has worked for independent promotions such as Ring of Honor,UWA, Combat Zone Wrestling, NWA Virginia and has toured Japan with Pro Wrestling ZERO1-MAX.

Dutt began working for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling on a regular basis in 2004. Sonjay began to be noticed after he participated in the America's X-Cup as apart of Team USA along with Jerry Lynn, Chris Sabin and Elix Skipper against Team AAA (Hector Garza, Mr. Águila, Juventud Guerrera and Abismo Negro). After several months, Dutt became the onscreen protégé of Sabu, with Raven using him to vicariously assault Sabu. In addition, Dutt acted as a mouthpiece for the perpetually mute Sabu. This angle was postponed and then dropped after Sabu was sidelined with various health problems, and in the interim Dutt made appearances with World Wrestling Entertainment, provoking rumours of an imminent contract offer.

Dutt's presence in TNA was reduced in late-2004 and early-2005 during the tenure of Dusty Rhodes as booker, but his role within the promotion was once again expanded after Rhodes resigned as booker. Dutt won a four-way X Division match at No Surrender 2005 on July 17, 2005, thus qualifying for the 2005 Super X Cup, but lost to Samoa Joe in the first round of the tournament.

In September 2005, Dutt, Shark Boy and Simon Diamond spent two weeks in India, where they visited several cities, promoting the debut of iMPACT! on ESPN Star Sports. On September 28 in Bhopal, a riot broke out when 1000 fans were excluded from an event after attendance exceeded expectations. None of the three TNA wrestlers were injured.

At Bound For Glory on October 23, Dutt defeated Austin Aries, Roderick Strong and Alex Shelley in a four way X Division match on the preshow.

In 2006, Dutt earned a spot on Team USA in the 2006 World X-Cup.

Dutt occasionally wrestles in full-length black tights adorned with the Ashoka Chakra on the outside of either leg.

On July 28th 2006, Sonjay Dutt lost to Último Dragón in UWA Hardcore Wrestling.

In November 2006, Sonjay won the 2006 Grand Prix Tournament Championship.

Throughout late 2006, early 2007, Sonjay Dutt was involved in the Paparazzi Championship Series, lead by Kevin Nash. Although he didn't win it (Alex Shelley), it put him over with the fans. He is now involved in a tag team with fellow X Divisioner, Jay Lethal. Kevin Nash has taken both Dutt and Lethal under his wing and promised to give them an extreme makeover.

Andy Douglas

Ring name(s) Andy Douglas
Billed height 6 ft 1 in (185 cm)
Billed weight 220 lb (100 kg)
Born October 11, 1978
Northeast Kentucky
Resides Nashville, Tennessee
Billed from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Trained by Killer Kurt
Debut 2000

Andy Douglas (born October 11, 1978) is an American professional wrestler, is currently working for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling as one half of The Naturals with Chase Stevens.

Andy Douglas was trained by Killer Kurt in his home state of Kentucky. After completing his training, he travelled to Nashville, Tennessee and began working for NWA Main Event, where he teamed with Rick Santel. He then moved on to USA Championship Wrestling, where he formed a heel tag team with Chase Stevens, turning on Santel. They considered the name Natural Heat before choosing The Naturals while on a fishing trip. They were managed by Athena, then by April Pennington.

The Naturals worked for Jerry Lawler's Memphis Wrestling promotion in Memphis, Tennessee in 2003. They were renamed The Alternative Express, a gothic team who wore black clothing and painted their fingernails. In October 2003 they faced America's Most Wanted on the NWA fifty-fifth anniversary show.

The Naturals defeated Chris Vaughn and Rick Santel for the USA Championship Wrestling tag team championship on October 16, 2004.

The Naturals were hired by TNA in 2004, and began a lengthy feud with America's Most Wanted, baiting and taunting the tag team champions until they received a title match. In an upset victory, the Naturals defeated America's Most Wanted for the NWA World Tag Team Championship on July 7, 2004 in a twelve second long match. They also stole America's Most Wanted's trademark robes.

The Naturals managed to retain their title in a feud with Triple X, but eventually lost the title on September 8 when Chris Harris (from America's Most Wanted) and Elix Skipper (from Triple X) formed an impromptu pairing and defeated them when their respective partners (James Storm and Christopher Daniels) were injured.

On September 26, 2004, Douglas was stabbed while leaving a nightclub along with fellow wrestler Johnny Devine. Douglas was bleeding from the leg and Devine from the stomach, prompting both to be rushed to the hospital. Douglas returned to the ring soon after.

In 2005 the Naturals gained a new manager, Chris Candido. Candido eventually led the Naturals to a second NWA Tag Team Championship victory against America's Most Wanted on April 29, 2005, filmed prior to but airing shortly after his death. Following the sudden death of Candido as a result of a blood clot, The Naturals became de facto faces.

On June 19, 2005 at TNA Slammiversary 2005 the Naturals were assisted in a title defense against Team Canada by Jimmy Hart. They were managed by Hart throughout mid-2005, with their reign ending on the October 22 episode of TNA iMPACT! when they lost to America's Most Wanted following interference from Jeff Jarrett and Gail Kim. They were defeated by AMW in their rematch at TNA Bound For Glory 2005 on October 23, again following interference from Kim.

In April 2006, Douglas was the first victim of a rampage by Scott Steiner. While Steiner's partner, Jeff Jarrett, took out Chase Stevens, Steiner brutalized Douglas with a chair before putting him in a Steiner Recliner. Douglas disappeared from TNA television to sell the injury, then returned on the May 18 episode of TNA iMPACT! to rescue Chase Stevens from Samoa Joe. The now "Newly Franchised Naturals" are managed by Shane Douglas and are beginning a new debut in the tag team division. At TNA Victory Road 2006 The Naturals defated the Diamonds in the Rough. On the July 20, 2006 edition of TNA iMPACT!, they defeated "Maverick" Matt Bentley & Frankie Kazarian. Their match at TNA Hard Justice 2006, their match was cancelled due to a fire. On the August 17, 2006 edition of TNA iMPACT!, Chase Stevens defeated Chris Harris, Frankie Kazarian, & BG James in a Fatal Fourway to become the # 1 Contenders for the NWA World Tag Team Championship. On the August 24, 2006 edition of TNA iMPACT!, They lost to Paparazzi Productions and were stripped of their # 1 Contendership by Shane Douglas. However, The Naturals redeemed themselves by winning an 8-team Triple Chance Battle Royal at No Surrender. Prior to the match, if The Naturals lost, Shane's "experiment" with The Naturals would end. On the December 21 episode of iMPACT! after The Naturals lost a Tables Match to Team 3D, Douglas turned his back on them, saying "This experiment is over."

At the TNA House Show in Birmingham, Alabama on January 20, 2007, Andy Douglas was injured in a match between The LAX and The Naturals. He landed on the back of his neck after a Border Toss from Hernandez. He appeared on February 8, 2007 edition of TNA and came to Chase Steven's aid but was attacked by Abyss.

The " Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels Part 3

On Genesis on November 13, Daniels received a Grade III Concussion after being attacked by Samoa Joe following their tag match together. At Turning Point 2005, when Joe tried to similarly injure A.J. Styles after winning the X-Division Championship from him, Daniels made his return, attacking Joe and enabling members of TNA security to protect Styles and restrain Joe. Over the next few weeks Styles and Daniels would team together to face Joe. At Final Resolution, Daniels was defeated by Samoa when Styles threw in the towel to prevent the badly beaten Daniels from suffering serious injuries. The next week, Daniels turned on Styles claiming he did it to get the number 1 contendership for the X-Division Title. That same night he cost Styles a match against the "Prince of Punk" Shannon Moore. At Against All Odds, Samoa Joe retained his title against Daniels and Styles. The following month at Destination X, Daniels succeeded in winning an Ultimate X match to regain the X-Division Title. He lost his X-Division Title on April 13, 2006 to Samoa Joe after receiving a middle rope Island Driver.

After losing the X-Division title, Daniels was scheduled to face Jushin Liger in a Six Sides of Steel match at Lockdown. However, Liger was pulled out of the match. With no one to face, and Lockdown only a short time away, it was announced that Daniels would be facing a mystery opponent. The opponent turned out to be the returning Low Ki, Daniels' former tag parner who had now changed his ring name to Senshi, and the two competed in a back-and-forth match, which ultimately saw Senshi win, using his surroundings for assistance.

Daniels eventually turned face and would go on to continue teaming with AJ Styles. Within a short time, the pair would become #1 contenders for the NWA Tag Team Titles, then held by America's Most Wanted. Daniels and Styles won the titles from AMW at TNA Slammiversary 2006. While champions, the team would feud with LAX; trading the tag titles back and forth with the team of Homicide and Hernandez.

On November 16, 2006, Daniels competed in a triple threat match that also involved Chris Sabin, and then X-Division Champion A.J. Styles in the primetime debut of TNA iMPACT! on Spike TV. Daniels won the match by pinning Chris Sabin to capture his third TNA X Division Championship. He went to lose it again to Sabin in a Three-Way bout at TNA Final Resolution, which also involved Jerry Lynn.

"The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels, Part 2

Two months later at the show Unscripted, Low Ki would defend his title against Xavier. During the match, Christopher Daniels, who was also competing in a one night tournament to crown the first ROH Tag Team Champions with his partner Donovan Morgan, came to the ring. Because of ROH rules, Daniels couldn't touch Low Ki, but he did distract his attention, allowing Xavier to attack Low Ki with a chair. Low Ki was badly beaten, but managed to get back in the ring, only to be pinned by Xavier. It was soon known that Xavier was the newest member of The Prophecy. Later that night, Daniels and Morgan would go on to win the Tag Team Titles, meaning that The Prophecy now held all the titles in ROH.

At Glory By Honor, Daniels did not allow any of the titles to be on the line. Instead, he faced Doug Williams, and Xavier faced Jay Briscoe, as suggested by his brother Mark. The Prophecy also had plans for Low Ki that night, as they hired Samoa Joe, who made his ROH debut that night, to take out Low Ki in the first ever Fight Without Honor. Low Ki would win the match, and shake Joe's hand, which is not what The Prophecy had in mind.

Daniels would recruit new members to The Prophecy, such as Dan Maff and B.J. Whitmer, while other members, Xavier and Donovan Morgan, would leave. The new Prophecy would engage in a bitter feud with the Second City Saints, which would see the temporary end to Daniels' ROH career. In a match with the Saints, Daniels was given the Pepsi Plunge through a table by CM Punk. Daniels would not return for sixteen months, due to being pulled from all ROH shows by Total Nonstop Action as a result of the Rob Feinstein scandle.

At Death Before Dishonor III, Christopher Daniels would make his ROH return, challenging CM Punk for his newly won ROH Title, who was determined to take it to WWE with him. However, Punk refused the challenge. The next show, Sign of Dishonor saw Daniels defeat Punk's stablemate Colt Cabana, despite interference by Punk, who attempted to hit Daniels with a steel chain (he instead hit Cabana, behind Daniels' back). At Fate of an Angel, Daniels would lose thanks to Punk, against the debuting Matt Hardy. Even with this loss, Daniels was granted a title shot at The Homecoming. Daniels and Punk fought back and forth, eventually ending in a one hour time limit draw, just as Daniels hit the Angel's Wings. Redemption, the next ROH show, featured Christopher Daniels, James Gibson, and Samoa Joe challenging CM Punk in a 4 Way Elimination Match for the ROH Title. During the match, Christopher Daniels was covered by Joe. Daniels got his foot on the rope, but Punk knocked it off before the referee could see, and Daniels was eliminated. Daniels tried to get revenge, but ended up accidentally eliminating Samoa Joe.

Daniels joined TNA shortly after the company was founded in 2002. In December of that year he formed a stable with Low-Ki and Elix Skipper known as Triple X. XXX competed in the tag division, winning the NWA World Tag Team Championships and taking turns to defend the titles, and also joined Vince Russo's Sports Entertainment Xtreme faction. The stable disbanded in June 2003 after Low-Ki began wrestling primarily in Japan and the remaining two members decisively lost a cage match to America's Most Wanted. After XXX disbanded, Daniels competed in the X Division until reviving XXX as a tag team with Skipper in July 2004. They were forced to disband once more after losing to America's Most Wanted on December 5 at TNA Turning Point 2004.

In 2005, Daniels engaged in a lengthy feud with A.J. Styles over the TNA X Division Championship. He won the title at Destination X 2005 under dubious circumstances at the end of an Ultimate X Challenge. Styles had taken down the belt, but the referee was unconscious. Daniels put Styles in the Angel's Wings and took the belt when the ref came to. Daniels went on to become the longest reigning X-Division champion in TNA history, holding the belt for over 150 days. During the run Daniels successfully defended the X-Division title against Elix Skipper, Shocker, Petey Williams, Matt Bentley, Chris Sabin, and Austin Aries. Later, on September 11 at Unbreakable, Styles won back the title in a three-way dance with Daniels and Samoa Joe. Daniels lost to Styles once again in a thirty minute Iron Man match for the X-Division Championship at Bound For Glory on October 23.

"The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels

Daniel Christopher Covell (born December 24, 1971) is an American professional wrestler, best known by his ring name in the United States, "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels. He also wrestles as Curry Man, a masked persona which he portrays principally in Japan.

Daniels is currently performing mainly for Ring of Honor where he one half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions, and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. He also works regularly for many independent promotions.

Christopher Daniels got his start in pro wrestling at Windy City Pro Wrestling in Chicago during the early 1990's. In 2000, he tagged in the World Wrestling Federation with Aaron Aguilera as "Dos" one half of Los Conquistadores. He also challenged TAKA Michinoku for the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship in a losing effort in his Fallen Angel gimmick on WWF Shotgun Saturday Night. Covell was also given the title King of Indies for his work with independent promotions all over the world; including Ring of Honor and Frontier Wrestling Alliance.

Covell wrestles frequently in Japan as his masked alter-ego Curry Man.

On January 23, 2001 during an episode of WCW Monday Nitro Daniels had a match against Michael Modest. During the match Daniels attempted a springboard moonsault, but his left foot went over the rope as his other foot connected. This lack of momentum left him unable to complete the rotation thus he botched the move and landed on his head with his legs towards the ropes, nearly breaking his neck. Despite this however Daniels managed to continue the match to its finish. After the match, both Daniels and Modest were offered 90-day contracts, but the purchase of WCW by the World Wrestling Federation meant neither would wrestle another match in WCW. He continued to wrestle on the independent circuit and in Japan. Daniels also portrayed a hooded figure that Vampiro reported his sucess to after he won the Human Torch match against Sting.

Christopher Daniels is known as one of the "Founding Fathers" of Ring of Honor. He wrestled in the main event of the first show, The Era of Honor Begins, in a triple threat match against Low Ki and American Dragon. Daniels lost the match, but refused to shake hands with his opponents, thus breaking the Code of Honor, which states that all wrestlers must shake hands before and after the match. Directly following his decision not to shake hands, Daniels got on the mic and challenged both Low Ki and American Dragon to a Round Robin match, which took place at ROH's second show, the Round Robin Challenge. Daniels won the first match, defeating American Dragon. However, this time, because Daniels won, he forced Dragon to shake his hand. In the next match of the series, Daniels faced Low Ki. Daniels tapped out to the Dragon Clutch, but, just like the first show, Daniels refused to shake hands and stated that he could have beaten Low Ki if he hadn't already wrestled that night. He also said he would not step into the ring again with Low Ki unless the ROH Title was on the line. Daniels made it clear that he was trying to break down Ring of Honor by not following its code. To help him do this, he created The Prophecy.

At Ring of Honor's third show, A Night of Appreciation for Eddie Guerrero, Daniels faced Donovan Morgan. Many people thought Morgan would beat some respect into Daniels, but instead, they showed a mutual respect for each other, and Morgan formed a partnership with Daniels. The next show, Road to the Title, would feature a series of matches to determine who would fight to become the first ROH Champion. Daniels earned the right to compete at the next show, Crowning a Champion, in a 60 Minute Iron Man Match against Spanky, Doug Williams Low Ki. During the match, Daniels managed to pin Low Ki, but due to Iron Man Match rules, Low Ki was still able to win the match. This did not sit well with Daniels, since he lost the match despite the fact he was the only person to be neither pinned nor submitted.

Christian Cage

William Jason (Jay) Reso (born November 30, 1973), is a Canadian professional wrestler, better known by his ring name Christian Cage. He is currently performing for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, where he is the reigning NWA World Heavyweight Champion.

He is also very well known for his work in World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment known just as Christian. Reso initially rose through the ranks as one half of the tag team Edge and Christian, alongside his kayfabe brother and real-life longtime friend Edge.

Reso debuted in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling at Genesis 2005 pay-per-view under his original ring name, Christian Cage. After teasing an alliance with longtime friend Scott D'Amore and Team Canada, he delivered an Unprettier to D'Amore and helped Team 3D drive Jeff Jarrett through a table.

Cage made his iMPACT! debut on November 19, 2005, engaging in a verbal sparring bout and then brawling with "The Alpha Male" Monty Brown. Cage's in-ring debut for TNA was a win against Team Canada's enforcer Bobby Roode. He defeated Brown at Turning Point to become the number one contender to the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. At Final Resolution 2006, Cage and the returning Sting defeated Monty Brown and Jeff Jarrett.

On February 12, 2006 at Against All Odds 2006, Cage defeated Jarrett to win his first World title, the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

On April 2, Cage entered into a feud with Abyss after a series of kayfabe videos showed Abyss and his manager James Mitchell stalking Cage's wife and entering his house. They feuded until Lockdown 2006 at which Cage successfully retained his title, but Abyss attacked him after the match and took the title belt. They continued against each other until Sacrifice 2006 where Christian regained his belt, and the championship, in a Full Metal Mayhem match.

Cage defended the NWA World Heavyweight Championship against Abyss, Ron "The Truth" Killings, Jeff Jarrett, and Sting in a King of the Mountain match at Slammiversary 2006. The match was declared unofficial due to the intervening of Larry Zbyszko and referee Earl Hebner at the end of the match when Zbyszko and Hebner snatched the belt and helped Jarrett win. As a result of the finish, the belt was stripped away and declared vacant until Jim Cornette held a "company meeting" on the June 29 iMPACT!, where Cornette awarded the belt back to Jarrett on the condition that he defend it against the winner of a Fatal four way match at Victory Road 2006 involving Christian Cage, Samoa Joe, Scott Steiner, and Sting.

At Hard Justice 2006, Cage watched the Sting vs. Jeff Jarrett match from ringside, supposedly backing his friend Sting. However, at the end of the match, he hit Sting with a guitar, thus turning heel.

Immediately following his actions, Cage would be questioned by Rhino. This would eventually lead to a confrontation between the two, as Cage claimed anger and betrayal at Rhino's questioning of his motives and loyalties, and then gave him the con-chair-to. Christian defeated Rhino at No Surrender 2006 after an Unprettier onto a steel chair. At Bound For Glory 2006, Cage earned another victory over Rhino in an 8 Mile Street Fight.

On the TNA iMPACT! prime time debut, Cage faced off against Rhino in the first-ever Barbed Wire Six Sides of Steel match (a conventional Six Sides of Steel match, only with barbed wire bordering the top of the cage). Christian Cage won when Rhino gored Cage with so much momentum, it sent Cage through the side of the cage and onto the floor. Christian then went on to defeat A.J. Styles at Genesis 2006. The next week on iMPACT!, Christian was reunited with his old 'Problem Solver' from WWE, Tomko, who made his debut in TNA attacking Sting during Christian and Sting's match.

At Final Resolution 2007, Cage captured his second NWA World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Abyss (c) and Sting in a Three Way Elimination Match.
